I have seen people expressed dangers of AI generated images and many AI generated contents. But I am presenting a different angle in this post to show how AI can crush creativity of contents creators and also send them out of business.

No, in the real sense, AI is not dangerous or wicked. It is a technology and it is an improvement in technology. It is meant to show us how we can improve our various tasks in different aspects of our lives.
But where is the danger? What is the dangerous tendencies of Artificial Intelligence that this post is trying to show you?

Google Generative AI
‘Google will do the Googling for you!’ That’s the awful statement from Google at its launch of its Generative AI platform recently.
It’s awful not because AI is not a welcome technology or innovation or because Google is not a credible company (I love Google as a company) but the way some of these big players are going about this whole thing about AI.
I foresee a cruel abuse of copyright and fundamental rights of genuine content creators if this continues.
Well, I also foresee many law suits coming on board.
Dangers of AI: Scraping contents is dangerous
You don’t scrape people’s contents from their websites and blogs and present the summaries without giving any attribution whatsoever. This is “stealing”
When I first noticed AI on WhatsApp and used it, I saw this ‘abuse’. But of late, I observed that the WhatsApp AI genius or robot is now including website links where they scrapped the information.
Though this is good but more can still be done to protect the rights and businesses of contents creators.
Dangers for contents creators
As a content creator myself with about three websites full of very useful contents, I am concerned and I believe these big players should be concerned too.
Why can’t AI presents 20% of the information and direct users to the website where the information was scrapped? I believe this is better.
I am sure more corrections and reviews will take place with time.
Artificial Intelligence has come to stay
Yes, AI has come to stay. It won’t go away just like the internet and the social media came on board and have been there.
However, we need to ensure it does not destroy the creative works of contents creators. Without these creators, AI itself will not be that effective.
Just as I have mentioned, if you’re wise, this is the time to learn more and more about Artificial Intelligence (AI). It’s a monster that is here with us now and is not ready to go away.
